Privacy Policy

This is what My AI Gets Me (myaigetsme.com, made by Echotyr LLC) stores about you, why, for how long, and what we never do. Plain words, on purpose.

What we store, and why

• Your email and first name — to send your order confirmation, your file, and two short follow-up emails (a day-2 "how did it feel?" and a 7-day check-in). Kept 90 days after purchase, or until you opt out, whichever comes first.
• A payment reference — the Stripe checkout ID for your purchase, so we can confirm payment, handle refunds, and the $9 add-on. Kept 3 years (that's how long payment records need to be kept). Link and Stripe handle your payment details; we never store card numbers or your billing address.
• Which terms you accepted, and when — so we can show you agreed. Kept 3 years with the payment reference.
• Your build in progress — your answers, saved as you go, so a dropped connection resumes instead of restarting. Deleted 30 days after the build started.
• Your finished file — so we can email you a copy and let you rebuild. Deleted 30 days after purchase. Keep your downloaded copy.
• Your rebuild link — a code that lets you start over within 30 days. Deleted when it expires.
• A flag log — if something you typed was set aside by our safety check, we keep that text and the reason for our team to review. It is not linked to you or your build. Deleted after 1 year.
• Your feedback — your day-2 rating, your one sentence, and whether you said we may share it. Kept until you withdraw permission.
• Which ad brought you here, if one did — kept 1 year, so we know which ads work.
• Anonymous step counts — how many people reached each step of the tool. Counts only: no answers, no names, no IDs. Deleted after 1 year.

What we never do

• We never sell your data.
• We never store what you type beyond the items above, and never your answers in the step counts.
• "Try it on something real" (the before-and-after on the download screen) is not stored or logged at all.
• We never use cookies for tracking. Our analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) is cookie-free and shows us visits, where they came from, and device type — nothing about you personally.
• The AI that helps write your file (Anthropic's Claude) receives your answers to do that one job. We don't use your answers to train anything.

Who else sees your data

Resend (email), Cloudflare (hosting and storage), and Anthropic (writing your file) work for us. Each one sees only what it needs for its job. Stripe runs the checkout page. We send it your email, first name, and an order number. It tells us the amount and whether the payment went through.

Who handles the purchase

Stripe is the merchant of record for purchases. Your receipt and bank statement show the purchase as sold through Link, a Stripe service. When you pay, you give your name, email, billing address, and payment details to Link and Stripe directly. They use them to take the payment, work out tax, prevent fraud, and send your receipt. They do this as their own business, under their own privacy policy (link.com/privacy), not for us. Link may offer you a Link account. That's optional and between you and Link.

Emails

Every email we send has a way to stop further emails. Opting out deletes your email and first name from our records.

Ask us to delete your data

Email hello@myaigetsme.com from the address you bought with, and we'll delete what we hold about you (the payment reference stays for the 3 years that payment records require). To delete what Link and Stripe hold about your purchase, ask Link support (support.link.com). Stripe then tells us.

Children

The tool is for people 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect anything from anyone younger.

If you're outside the US

My AI Gets Me is run from the US. Your data is handled in the US and in other countries where our providers work. Wherever you live, you can ask us to see, fix, or delete your data at hello@myaigetsme.com.

If the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to you, here is why we use your data. To build and deliver what you bought (our contract with you). To keep the tool safe, to know which ads work, to send the two follow-up emails, and to keep payment and tax records (our legitimate interests; you can stop the emails any time). To share your feedback (only with your permission, which you can take back any time). You can also object to how we use your data, ask us to limit it, or complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top. Big changes get a note on the site.
