Cheat sheet — your first five prompts
Your instructions are in. Now see the difference. Each of these shows how your picks change the answer.
Five starter prompts
- A hard email. "Write a reply to someone who went quiet on me. I want to nudge without sounding pushy."
- Plan my week. "Here's what's on my plate this week: [paste it]. Help me plan it."
- Think through a decision. "I'm deciding between [A] and [B]. Help me think it through."
- Explain something I don't understand. "Explain [the thing] to me."
- Honest feedback on my idea. "Here's an idea I'm excited about: [the idea]. What do you think?"
Try one you asked last week and compare.
Teach your AI more about you
- "Ask me five questions, one at a time, that would help you work with me better."
- "Is there a principle behind what we just did that's worth saving? If one of my instructions already covers it, sharpen that one instead of adding a new one. Keep it to one line, with the reason."
- Once a month: "Looking at how we've worked lately, what three lines would you change in my instructions?" Then use your rebuild link (in your receipt email, good for 30 days) to update your file.
Tip: Only save what keeps coming up, and save the principle, not the specific.
If your AI ignores the file
- Make sure it's pasted into the account-wide instructions (not just one chat). The setup steps on your download screen show where.
- If the box is too small, paste the short version.
- Start a new chat after saving; old chats don't pick up new instructions.
